Where everything you want for
your life shows up with effortless ease
Where everything you want for
your life shows up with effortless ease
To help people understand how to meditate in a way that makes them want to do it everyday.
The type of meditation I use is called guided meditation. It‘s a blend of I AM Yoga Nidra and the sound of meditation instruments.
Many people think that meditation is hard or needs to be done sitting up straight while trying not to think. The way I guide is easy because it's done comfortably in a reclined position with an intention. You go deep fast and will see shifts quickly with consistency.
Simply decide upon your intention for the session, lay back and relax. Close your eyes and listen to my voice and the crystal singing bowls guiding you..

In guided meditation you'll hear the sound of the guide's voice and sound of meditation instruments, such as crystal singing bowls, throughout the entire practice..
While unguided meditation allows you to meditate on your own silently without any guidance. It is typically done in a seated position.
You'll be in a reclined position for approximately 45 minutes.
We recommend wearing loose fitted clothing and adding a cushion under your head, eye pillow over your eyes and blanket over your body. A bolster for under your knees is nice to have as well.
Yoga Nidra, also known as "yogic sleep", is a state of conscious relaxation. It involves stages like intention setting, breath awareness and visualization. The intentions and affirmations selected by participants will root them in their inherent wholeness, peace and power.
Yoga Nidra ties into a spiritual belief that there is no separation between the self and the universe. The benefits include stress reduction, better sleep, enhanced emotional balance, and fewer self-limiting thoughts.
There are many types of Nidras, however this one Penny uses is known as "the deep one", the I AM Yoga Nidra Amrit Integrative Method. She has an advanced certification in this practice.
An intention acts as a seed that you plant into your subconscious during a meditative state, encouraging positive change in your life.
To create a meaningful intention you can ask yourself, "What would bring me peace, happiness, and clarity?" or "What area of my life needs growth and transformation?"
An intention is stated as if it is already happening to affirm its reality in your subconscious. Be specific but simple. Here is an example, "I am healthy, strong and vibrant." And finally you'll want to be sure that your intention aligns with your core values. Ask yourself, "Does this truly reflect who I am and who I want to become?"
